Adidas F50i TUNIT Cleat Released

Bryan Byrne June 3, 2009 2

Messi in new F50iAdidas have just released their latest creation – the F50i TUNIT. After having huge success with the F50.8 and F50.9, Adidas have upped their value with this latest cleat of pure innovation. Take for example the technology involved in creating the new adiGrip upper, which is made of lighweight microfiber synthetic. It helps improves touch in all weather conditions as the surface of the cleat is lined with adiDot’s that grip the surface of the soccer ball. Add to that an increase in the striking zone thanks to an innovative seamless lace cover and you are already on the way to seeing the potential in these cleats. Being part of the TUNIT range, the cleats are fully customizable, with interchangeable studs and uppers available.

Lionel Messi was the first player to officially showcase these cleats in last week’s Champions League final. Messi wore the Cyan/Running White/Black version. It was a game of Messi vs Ronaldo, Adidas vs Nike, and on this occasion adidas won hands down. With Messi odds on favorite to win this year’s Player of the year award Adidas will be even more pleased to have their new range in the public eye.

I have 2 pairs of F50's, not the outrageosly expensive ones, but the cheaper pairs, and they are just amazing. My accuracy, power, and range has increased at a good rate. I just love these shoes.
