Adizero Update – “Review in Progress”

Adidas Adizero rangeFor those of you waiting for the Adidas Adizero review it is almost complete. The reason it has taken a little longer than expected is because I am currently reviewing three versions of the Adizero range at once! I have the Black Synthetic FG, Chameleon Synthetic SG and the Chameleon leather FG in testing at the moment (image above), and for the sake of giving you the best information in terms of comparison, I have been holding off on releasing any reviews. But, it is nearly time! Check back this weekend for the first review and information on an Adizero giveaway we will be running!

Here are the basics of what you need to know for now:

  • The adizero is lighter than you can imagine!
  • Of all the light cleats I have tested/worn, these are the only one I could actually feel a difference in!
  • The design is simple yet sleek.
  • They break in really, really well for a speed boot.
  • Overall, definitely value for money!

  1. Cannot wait, Bryan. I am ecstatic about this one review.

  2. So glad you are reviewing the leather version.

  3. Really Excited to see how well the leather compares to the others seeing as you rarely see leather speed boots.

  4. I've been checking back here for their review.

I hear from Soccerbible review that they run a little big, so i'm curious about the fitment.

    OT:

    Hey Brian,

do you think Soccer.com will carry Mizuno Wave Ignitus in the future?
    http://www.soccerbible.com/news/football-boots/ar

I can't find any US seller that carry those cleats. I'm dying to get my hands on those cleats.

  5. It's amazing that these cleats are so light

  6. Hey Aaron I've asked Soccer.com about getting the Mizuno cleats and they said they have tried but Mizuno's American division will not sell them to anyone. Also after complaining to Mizuno they said there wasn't a big enough market to sell soccer cleats to in America so unless that changes you won't see them here anytime soon. It's a shame because their cleats look to be very good! Also I really find it hard to believe that there isn't a big enough market for cleats in the US seeing as to how many soccer players their are here. Hope this info helps and maybe if we keep haggling them they will bring their cleats here!

  7. Hey Rosslee,

Thanks for your info, I think i just have to jump the bullet and order it from http://www.prodirectsoccer.com in UK.

I've always hear great things about mizuno soccer cleats from my friends overseas (their glove fitment+comfort). Now that they have Wave Ignitus series, i couldn't help myself to go for it. Soccerbible gave em Excellent review on their playtest,

It's a Power cleats with the weight of Vapor. Mukaiten tech is interesting too.

I sure hope they will change their mind soon.

Sorry for the OT, Adizero is best speed cleats out there (coming from Vapor user)
