Just Arrived – Nike T90 Laser Elite

Nike T90 Laser Elite

These arrived today thanks to our friends over at Nike, who wanted to give us an opportunity to test out the Elite series versus the regular Total 90 Laser III. We profiled the Challenge Red version a week or two ago, so we already have a good starting point!

Watch out for a full review and comparison in the coming weeks.

  1. Did Nike or Soccer.com send these boots over? If it is Nike like you said, please keep the unbiased-ness. I really love the site and would hate for it to be spoiled by biased-ness!

  2. how come the heel on this cleat has a different design then the ones in soccer.com

  3. These boots are siiick…

need to get myself a pair

  4. Alex, you're probably looking at the picture of the non-elites, which have an external heel-counter wrapping around the lateral portion of the heel.

  5. I am only sooooooo jealous of you =)

  6. but wait, why are there some stiches on the boot same as seen on the leather one? Aren't they made up of carbon fibre like the world cup version??

  7. Hani, the only carbon fiber on this boot is in the sole plate. The upper is still a synthetic, just like the non-elite Challenge Red T90's

  8. Ahh okayy thanks man!

  9. OnlyFootball, im talking about the part in the heel that has like a scale design.

  10. Ahhhh, yes, I see what you're saying. That is weird. All the pairs I've seen don't have that embossed scale design on the heel. Good spotting.

  11. @ Nike Slayer

I dont think biasedness is a problem with the site seeing as 4 out of the top 5 cleats he has reviewed aren't Nike.

  12. @Kyle I think he meant bias because Nike sent him the boots, and he didn't buy them f of a retail site such as soccer.com

  13. As always, reviews will be completely unbiased, that is what has made SC101 successful, and there is no intent to change that fact! Nike were not pleased about the Superfly review, yet they continue to maintain a relationship because they understand the value of having unbiased information available for players and fans to contrast and discuss. (similar to Concave, Diadora, Uhlsport, Under Armour and Pele Sports who have all sent boots for review recently)

With that said, I appreciate your guys comments and am encouraged by your desire to continue reading unbiased reviews!

  14. Nike keep moving on to some cool colors 😀 /

    Can't wait for the review

  15. is this version made from teijin microfiber or kanga lite?

  16. Peta6,

    The upper is Teijin microfiber.

  17. ok thanks bryan

  18. When will the review be posted for these?

  19. Arnold,

Probably another week away, still need some more time testing them!

  20. dear Bryan,

any news on when you are gonna make a review on these?

  21. Chistopher,

Not long to wait! Full review/comparison is nearly finished!

  22. thanks Bryan, im excited for the review
