Jako Cleats – Not Looking So Good!

Jako Wembley IIIAt training Friday night, our Greek center-back (Nas) brought out a pair of Jako soccer cleats that were sent as a gift from his homeland. After 15 minutes, first time wearing them, he noticed the sole was coming loose. By the end of training, plus with some extra tape, they looked just like this. Basically, the soleplate snapped off right around the front blades – ouch! Needless to say, they went straight into the trash bin.

After some research, I traced the boots down as being the Jako Wembley III and they are actually pretty tough to find online. I am familiar with Jako’s range of sports clothing, but this was the first time I have seen their cleats.

The final verdict: completely avoid them!!
