Adidas adiPower Predator in Black/Warning Released

If you are looking for a traditional, yet completely updated look in the Adidas adiPower Predator range, then this latest release is probably a good fit. Adidas label it a simple Black/Warning/White, which is pretty self explanatory when you take a look at the boots! The Taurus leather black upper is pretty spectacular in its simplicity – it offers up a very classic feel, while the warning detailing gives them a warm Winter look – almost like embers burning in a fireplace!

This latest release joins another new Adidas release, the Phantom/Warning version of the adiPower SL. Both offer a similar look and have hit the market around the same time, leaving players with an option between power and lightweight. With this release, you get a slightly improved level of protection, something that might make them more appealing to defenders.

I like what Adidas has done with this latest Predator release. The overall look and performance of the boot is very competitive and they offer a great mix of power with a lightweight feel. Adidas has re-engineered the entire Predator Zone in a pretty cool way and now refer to it as the Predator Element.  Basically, a silicon rubber is strategically positioned and tuned to create a uniform surface with rebound effect, for those times when you need some extra power behind your shots. Holding a pair, it is hard to comprehend the fact that they fall into the power category, but I can tell you after testing the adiPower that they have everything that you could require and more.

If you decide to go for a pair of these, the adiPower comes in around the $200 range.

For those of you looking for a more economical option, there is another new release in the same colorway that offers top performance for its price range – the Absolion, which comes in at $110.
