Best Boot Bracket – 1st Round Recap

Best Boot Bracket

After a week of interesting match-ups, we have finally completed the first round of our Best Boot Bracket. The results have been completely mixed, with some absolute blow-outs and other clashes going down to the final few votes.

There really wasn’t any surprise results throughout and for the most part you could have called the eventual winners. One clash that was slightly out-of-sorts was the all Diadora match-up. The cheaper Maracana proved to be the decisive choice and waltzed past the newer and more expensive Evoluzione. The Adidas Copa Mundial vs Mizuno Wave Ignitus turned out to be a nail-biter, with voting completely tied until we factored in some Twitter voting – the Copa held out to win.

But the tie of the round was definitely between the Nike T90 Laser IV and the Adidas adiPowe Predator SL. Over 150 votes were submitted – the T90 Laser took it by a mere 2 votes in the end!

Keep an eye on our Facebook page for more head-to-head battles, especially since the match-ups are going to get even closer. We need as much input as possible in order to find the official top boot!
