Adidas Unleash Wildly Colorful adiZero F50 Messi

Just like every suit he has worn to Ballon d’Or ceremony, Messi will be sporting a new boot that will stand out and won’t be easy to miss on pitch!

The new Adidas adiZero F50 Messi boots feature a sleek rainbow color scheme of green, blue, pink, orange and white, along with the iconic adidas three stripes, and combines revolutionary technologies with the precision engineering befitting of a four-time Ballon d’Or winner.

Built on the same successful platform as the current version of the adiZero F50, Messi will be wearing a slightly altered version that the ones pictured. That’s because he is a fan of leather uppers and stitching across the forefoot for a more natural fit. The pictured boots are the synthetic. We just tested the Blackout F50 Leather version a few weeks back, for those that want further details on performance. In our summary, we described them as “A top class, very modern looking boot created to suit attacking players who want clean touch on the ball and speedy change of direction.”

These boots will be worn by the Argentinian star for the first time tomorrow during the UEFA Champions League round of 16 and we will have some more on feet images available at after the game. It makes their massive clash with Man City all the more entertaining!

In terms of availability, those of you interested in a pair with a synthetic upper will have to wait a few weeks to get their hands on a pair. Pairs will officially leave retail shelves on March 1st.

FINAL NOTE; there is no official title for this colorway, but we were going to go with the “Rainbow Messi F50”. Anyone else got a title they want to throw in the ring before we stick with this one?
