adiZero F50 Solar Slime

One of the latest Adidas adiZero F50 colorways to hit the market has been getting plenty of positive attention over the past few weeks, even at a time when releases are coming super quick and fast. It has been the noticeable performances of Real Madrid striker, Karim Benzema, that has folks talking and the boots prime center of attention.

The colorway is officially listed as a Solar Slime/Black/Vivid Berry and definitely features a lot of pop thanks to the mix of Samba colors. It has been a trend in recent weeks for Adidas, with other boots featuring a similar appearance including the Adidas Copa Mundial and the Adidas Nitrocharge. The primary difference on this boot being the Vivid Berry detailing, specifically to create an impact through the laces. All of the releases have a very sharp appearance, but there is something about have the lightning fast F50 series in this color that gives it a more edgy feel.

We picked up a pair of the attacking, designed for speed boots from adidas, in order to bring those interested in a pair a close-up look of what you can expect.

When it comes to the latest Samba version of the adiZero F50, there is a lot of new technology included that are intended to deliver a more responsive boot. For example, there is a raised pattern on the vamp called Dribbletex that is designed to improve ball contact in dry and wet conditions.

On the back portion of the boot, Adidas has added Speedfoil, a revolutionary material that combines lightweight, softness and durability for a comfortable, yet locked down heel fit. You can see that on the first image below.

Then there is the new Speedtraxion soleplate, which is comprised of a new, high speed stud alignment for maximum acceleration and pinpoint changes in direction.

Also worth noting is that the upper on this boots is a HybridTouch material – the same that was introduced on the Predator LZ. The previous edition adiZero III featured a SprintSkin upper with similar texture for added control in all conditions. It was very effective but the addition of HybridTouch is a game changer. It is much softer and allows the upper to really mold around your forefoot.

You can find this colorway of the adiZero F50 listed on soccer.com.
