Diadora DD NA 2 Profiled (Plus A Giveaway!)

Diadora DD-NA 2

No, Diadora has not gone all Puma with multi-colored boot releases. We actually managed to snag two pairs of the new Diadora DD-NA 2 to test out, with both colorways featured above. Our goal is to obviously test out the new boot, but we also want to put a pair up for one reader to win! Before we get into the details, here are the important details you need to know about them.

First off, these are designed to fall into the speed category and are a follow-up to the successful original DD-NA boot that we gave two thumbs up to. There hasn’t been a great deal of changes made to the boot, but the small modification made are designed to improve some minor performance characteristics of the boot. For example, a touch component is added to the Diadora hit on the side of the boot as well as the Diadora text. This adds a little extra grip and control on the ball, with the SuprellPro3L adding a naturally soft feel as you contact the ball.

Those interested in the DD-NA 2 can find them at Soccer.com.

The other key feature of the boot is the perforated and breathable NET Breathing System located in the soleplate. It is there to release heat and help keep your feet a little cooler through play. When you combine that with a pretty awesome 14 conical/diamond stud system, they make an ideal boot choice for wear on artificial turf surfaces. Many players struggle to find a boot suitable to wear on both AG and FG surfaces (one boot that will suit both surfaces) – these are an ideal option!

Through testing (and we will have that posted soon), I can tell you that these are a great option to consider if you are looking for a speed boot but want something different, outside of the big 3 brands. Diadora are not a brand we associate with speed boots, or anything outside of Leather uppers for that matter, but they have done a solid job on the DD-NA series.

Entering to win a pair is easy, but it involves leaving a comment on our YouTube video. Check out our Unboxing of the boots below, or head directly over to the video on YouTube and leave your comment to get entered. We are going to select a winner on Monday August 4th, so you have a few days to get your name in the running!

  1. I prefer the whites to the canary. How does the synth uppr compare to the evospeed 1.2 upper? Does it have any stretch to it?
