adidas are taking their top range boots and giving them a street makeover in the form of ACE16+ PURECONTROL UltraBOOST. This is a fresh of-field take on the high performing ACE16+ PURECONTROL, a boot that has quickly become a leader on the market thanks to its laceless design and Primeknit upper. adidas has taken the industry-leading BOOST technology used in adidas Running products, to meet players’ off-pitch needs.
The ACE 16+ PURECONTROL UltraBOOST will be available two colorways; Solar Yellow (matching the new Speed of Light range) and a Blackout. This is the first time that football’s leading brand has taken an on-pitch shoe and reinvented it as a lifestyle shoe. It marks the beginning of a new focus where future soccer products will be followed by similar off-pitch alternatives. Given everything these have to offer, they are an AWESOME release!

So we’re going to start following our on-pitch releases with off-pitch versions – this is the start of an exciting journey.
And this was a super limited edition run, with very few pairs released to retail. For example, soccer.com only had 10 pairs available and they sold out in minutes. And if you do a quick search on eBay, they are already listed well over the retail price, some pairs for as much as $800!
