Umbro Unleash The UX-Accuro Pro

Umbro UX-Accuro

There is a new Umbro boot on the market, the UX-Accuro Pro, built to provide players with a new level of deadly comfort. Umbro are quick to point out with this release that they don’t want players sitting in their comfort zone while wearing these, instead they are intended to remove any unnecessary distractions as you wear them.

There is an air of familiarity about these, especially when it comes to the instep and the padded region for controlling the ball. This boot features a dedicated touch zones that put the wearer in control in all conditions, improving grip and offering a first class touch. A lightweight microfibre upper with a wraparound tongue construction, provides a larger medial strike area so shots “make a deadly impact”. Padded collar lining and dipped achilles heel tab provide optimum comfort for from the first minute to the last.

Underfoot, a unique ‘pro-stance’ outsole stud configuration that aids traction, balance and stability to help players hound the opposition right through a 90 minute game.

Unfortunately, there is no word about these being released on the US market. But they have everything going for them, including the right type of performance you expect from a boot that is built on the same ideals as the Geometra Pro. That was a boot that excelled stateside, so lets hope these follow the same lines.

What do you guys think of this release? Has Umbro got the style right with these? Is it the type of boot you’d like to test out?

  1. Touch zone? Sounds like Adidas Predators when they first launched the LZ.

    But Umbro looks better

  2. Would love to test these!
