New Balance has released their latest set of colorways, on the Furon and Visaro, as part of their ‘Game On, Game Over’ campaign. Both are set to take on the darker winter months, helping players set a statement on pitch.
The Visaro is updated with an Atomic Red finish to the upper, a white sole plate and Barracuda Blue detailing on the studs and laces. The Furon design sees the upper and laces of the boot in a crisp white, with the base displaying a contrasting Barracuda Blue and the mesh portion of the upper finished with an Atomic Red. Both have a sort of Captain America feel about them, taking patriotic colors and using them to full effect!
Some of the best talent in world football will be wearing the new colour of boots on the world’s biggest footballing stages during the 2016/17 season, including Aaron Ramsey, Marouane Fellani, Joe Ledley, Massimo Luongo all in the Visaro, with Álvaro Negredo, Kevin Mirallas, Kasper Schmiechel and Jesus Navas featuring in the latest Furon colors. New Balance also announced the signing of Yohan Cabaye this week, and he will also be wearing the Visaro going forward.
In terms of traction, NB has included an AG version of the Furon – as seen below. The configuration spreads pressure across the soleplate, while allowing for effective traction on artificial surfaces.
General Manager of New Balance Football, Richard Wright stated:
After an impressive domestic season and European Championships for our players, we wanted to make a real statement with our latest boot design. The new colours for both boots are eye catching and are sure to be a big hit with the public. We are excited to see what our Visaro and Furon players can accomplish this season on the pitch for their clubs and for New Balance.
You can already find both colorways available at soccer.com.
And in case you were wondering, included in the box with both pairs is a color matching boot bag. Always an appreciated extra as you look to keep your muddy boots away from the rest of the gear in your soccer bag!
