Mizuno Rebula V1 – Inside Look At The Creation Process

Mizuno Rebula

A few weeks back, Mizuno introduced a completely new boot named to the market; Rebula V1. Created with the “Made In Japan” stamp, this is a boot that boasts the brand’s top materials and treatments to ensure the highest quality product available. And thanks to a textured forefoot design, it is built for control as well as comfort.

What is most interesting about this boot is that it is set to replace the long serving Wave Ignitus silo. Yes, out with Wave ignitus and in with the Rebula. That might make some of you a little sad on the inside. But don’t worry, Mizuno has kept some of the more prominent features found on the  Wave Ignitus while improving the general fit and feel of the boot on foot. We are set to cover more on performance when we get test them out, but for now here lies one of the best pieces of insight you will find on the boots; an inside look at how they are actually pieced together.

If you want to be one of the first to experience the Rebula MIJ, find them available for pre-order at soccer.com.

  1. These look absolutely fabulous. I think its a real tragedy that more players are unaware of just how good these boots are. As an owner of three pairs including some Wave Ignites 3s, I can firmly attest at just how good this brand is. Easily the superior of anything nike, adidas, or puma churns out these days!

  2. Please, when the Rebula V1 Made in Japan review..?

  3. My wife bought me V3. Well that’s what available in local shop. Even though the upper made of synthetic, it always amazed me how good Mizuno build cleats. Soft, supple and great for shooting and bending the ball. Though the studs aren’t as aggressive as Mercurial silos. My thought of best studs configuration fall to Vapor 8 though. Overall, even the 3rd tier will never let you down.
