Jozy Altidore Becomes the New Face of Puma Soccer

Altidore in Puma Future 18.1

Fresh from leading Toronto back to an MLS Cup Final appearance, Jozy Altidore has been named as the new face of North American soccer for PUMA. He will be featured in campaigns and marketing initiatives for soccer footwear and other soccer inspired PUMA products, having signed a “long-term contract.”

The USMNT striker will wear the brand’s latest on-pitch offering, Future 18.1. And he actually scored the winning goal last night while wearing them in game for that first time. The perfect start to match the big news!

If you haven’t heard about the Future 18.1 yet, they are pretty futuristic. What makes them so unique is that they are the first boot with a truly customizable, locked down fit. The key to its creation is the inclusion of NETFIT technology that allows the wearer to lace their boots any way they want, creating a “perfect” fit. Whether you are wide or narrow footed the fit adapts to your fit specifications giving you the ultimate lock-down.
