Since this is the final pair of 4 Nike Superfly CR7 that we are giving away, I decided to run things a little differently, and allow those that really follow the site an opportunity to win. This giveaway is definitely unique and should get you researching!

How many pinstripes are there on the outer side of a pair of Nike Superfly CR7 or Vapor VII CR? (in size 9US)

Now, I am not quite sure if there is an official answer to this question listed anywhere out there, but the answer I am looking for is based off the pair of Nike Vapor VII CR that I have in a size 9US. You could start your research by checking the Nike website, or the post I have showing images of the Vapor VII. As reference, the pinstripes are the thin black lines located on the silver side of the boot (as seen below). Finally, remember that the boots are design so that the silver side is on the inner side of one boot, and outer side of the other. The number of stripes on each side of the boot is actually different! And if you ask which side is the outer side, you are automatically disqualified!!

Finally it is here – and I am pretty excited to get the Christmas Extravaganza Giveaway Event started this week! The response after I announced that we were going to run a special Christmas Extravaganza Event this holiday season was extraordinary. Up for grabs, we have over 30 pairs of soccer cleats, 2 personalized jerseys and 2 $150 giftcards – all in all this is going to be one heck of an awesome giveaway!

Without wasting more time, let me explain how the event is going to work, and what you need to do to enter. I’m going to try give you as much detail as possible below to ensure you all understand how it works – so read it all before leaving questions! And remember, this is probably the first and best ever soccer footwear giveaway from any website – so I do expect to mess up somewhere along the line…be patient!

Christmas Extravaganza Event Summary:

• The first step is very simple – in order to give yourself the best chance of winning, follow us on Facebook, Twitter and subscribe to our Email List. You don’t have to follow all three but doing so will increase the opportunities for you to win.
• Each day, we will be posting details about the giveaway on the right sidebar of the website (at the top of the page).
• For each giveaway, I will be listing the names of 3 Facebook fans, 1 Twitter fan, and 1 email subscriber.
• When you see your name, you will need to email giveaway@soccercleats101.com. The first person from the list that I receive an email from will win the boots on offer.
• Only the first person to email me from the 5 listed wins the prize in question.
• If there are no winners through the day, I will be changing out the names – so keep checking in case your name pops up later in the day!
• There will be no set time when the names are posted or when they will change.
• Shoe sizes will not be listed, and there are no other sizes on offer unless a company has made separate arrangements (some companies have – some have not, and I will let the winners know via email)

Yes – believe it or not, I have amassed a stockpile of new boots to use as giveaways over the past few weeks (by taking advantage of the deals I point out to you guys on the site!) At sporadic times, I will announce a “Flash Giveaway“. These giveaways will be on Facebook and Twitter and will come and go very, very quickly. You will need to keep a close eye in order to ensure you get your name in the running for those giveaways. I might even run a few Flash Giveaways during Black Friday weekend, to get things running…..watch this space!

Over the past few weeks, I have been thinking about some cool ways to give back to you guys for continually following SC101. I appreciate the fact so many of you visit daily and leave your thoughts and comments on posts, it allows me to continue doing what I love to do on a full-time basis! After much thinking, I have formulated a plan and what will be one of the most awesome giveaway sessions ever!

Basically, I have started picking up new pairs of boots in different sizes that I am going to use for daily giveaways. My target is to have 2 brand new pair of boots or other prizes up for grabs each day for at least a week in December – my ideal goal would be 10 days with 3 pairs up for grabs each day. As it stands, I have 10 pairs purchased – so that covers 5 days. I am also looking for several companies to “sponsor a day” so that they can offer their products for giveaway, negotiations are already in progress!

In terms of entering, it is going to be super easy – although you will need to check the site out in order to “claim” your prize (if you are a winner!) There will be more details to follow as we get closer to December, that is all I am saying for now. I wanted to put it out there so you guys start to get a little pumped for the giveaways to start!

This time around, we decided it would be best to let you choose what brand/model and size you want rather than us selecting a boot, so the winner will get a $200 gift card towards the boots of their choice. On top of that, there is also a $50 gift card for a second place reader.

Along with a pair of the new Puma V1.11 boots to review, we got our hands on an extra pair of V1.10 and V1.10 SL to use for a giveaway! I have been holding off on this one, but some of you persuaded me that it was time for another competition! Along with both pairs of boots, I am also adding a $50 WeGotSoccer Giftcard for 3rd place, and a bonus 4th and 5th place prize (see below)!

I am making this giveaway a little more interesting, and you will have to work for it! Basically, I want to see your worst, most beat up pair of soccer cleats. They can be ripped/torn/shredded/covered in mud – whatever is your worst pair. Whichever pair I deem to be the worst will win, with the winner choosing between the V1.11 or V1.11 SL (2nd place gets the other pair.)

This giveaway is going to be run on Twitter – so you need a account to enter! Once you have an account, here is what you need to do:

1. First, follow SC101 and then post a comment that includes a link to an image of your beat-up boots and the hashtag #INeedNewBoots
2. The comment should look like:

That is it – once you follow the above steps, your entry is in and I will be checking the pictures daily to find the worst. My thinking behind running this Giveaway on Twitter is that it will allow everyone an opportunity to see all the entry!

In another humorous twist, I have a 4th and 5th place prize thanks to a Random Irish Guy Living in LA, who’s book currently sits as the third funniest on Amazon (I have read it and it is pretty funny!) Finally, Puma are currently running their Project Pink campaign, a more-than-just-October initiative that puts the fight against breast cancer in the hands of young soccer fans.
