Which Boots Should I Choose – Answered!

Skreamer vs CTR360

Warrior Skreamer vs Nike CTR360 Maestri

Bryan: Warrior Skreamer – These boots fall in different categories, but we get a lot of requests for a comparison. The upper of the Skreamer provides a great strikezone and Warrior deserve applause for producing such a quality first time boot.

Kevin: Warrior Skreamer – Real K-leather wins every time, plus Warrior have dared to be different and the Skreamer looks mean!

Jim: Nike CTR360 Maestri – As much as I would like to try out the Skreamer I would have to go with the CTR, however I may be swayed if it were the leather version of the Skreamer. But tried and trusted wins the day as I would most certaintly choose the Maestri over the Skreamer. It is a very interesting boot but it leaves me feeling like Warrior is trying too hard.

Tyler: Nike CTR360 Maestri: When going up against the big boys, you will always need a product that has quality. Warrior have released a decent boot with a few big names to prove it, but unfortunately the CTR360 edges out the Skreamer in terms of general player uptake and overall performance.

Colin: Nike CTR360 Maestri – I passed on the Maestri against the Nike Tiempo, but in this matchup I have to go with the Maestri. While Warrior are doing some interesting things, I’d still take a proven Nike boot over something new from Warrior.

Ethan: Nike CTR360 Maestri –  There is a lot going on in the Warrior Skreamer.  The striking element, soleplate, and murder holes in the back all make for a good package.  But I’m going with the Nike Maestri again simply because of the pass pads.  Those things really work and who can argue with the Kanga-Lite material.  The performance makes me think I’m wearing leather boots… but I’m not!

Richard: Nike CTR360 Maestri -It’s simply the best boot on the market in it’s role, probably the only boot which could compare to it in terms of quality is the original Umbro Geometra.

Final Tally: Skreamer 2 – CTR360 Maestri 5

  1. Congrats! Great article!

  2. Having worn both the Tiempo and the adiPure 11 Pro, I have to say that the adiPure 11Pro is a great boot.. I would never compare it to the Tiempo though. I am happy the Tiempo is around because it retains the slightly more classic feel. I like both boots and can't pick one over the other. But I would say the for people wanting a more classic feel, go for the Tiempo. If you want a blend between modern and classic, then go with the adiPure 11Pro.

    • Also, In the Warrior vs. Nike matchup, I would take the Warrior. I have worn both and the Skreamer really surprised me. Plus the customer service at Warrior was second to none, making Nike's look almost un-professional.

  3. I had problems with the stud pressure in the Tiempo's as well, glad to hear I'm not alone on that.

    • Yeah at the front of my right foot was very uncomfortable. The left slightly uncomfortable as well. I was very disappointed with the Tiempo.

  4. How about comparing the Nike Tiempo IV to my son’s favorite boot, the Umbro Speciali 4 Pro HG?

  5. with veloce vs f 30, I would rather buy an old pair of top end shoes.

  6. what shoes should I wear if I am playing on a land with no grass on it????
