What Does the Nike Magista Opus Have On Offer?

Nike Magista Opus Unboxed
If you’ve been tracking World Cup action in Brazil, you might have spotted the large number of players wearing the Nike Magista Opus. There are actually a lot more players wearing the Opus compared to the highly advanced Magista Obra! To some, that might seem a little surprising but the fact of the matter is that the Opus is a more functional boot that suits multiple playing types compared to the very focused Obra.

With that in mind, we wanted to put some focus on the Opus since they are bound to appeal to a large section of players out there. Considered to be the replacement to the CTR360 Maestri range, there is also added importance in figuring out what they have to offer and if they can relied upon a similar level of performance.

In the Opus, you get the exact same outsole found on the Obra, so your turns and grip (traction) will be equal no matter which boot you choose. Obviously the big difference is the absence of the dynamic mid-fit collar and Flyknit technology, but lets look at what you are getting. The upper on this boot has a mesh layer that has been teamed with Nike’s excellent Kangalite and Nikeskin technologies for a very control oriented boot.

From the above unboxing video, you will get a definite sense for what they have to offer and how the upper materials function together. Right now, we have these boots in testing and are working on getting a review out as soon as possible. Also watch out for our upcoming Opus vs Hypervenom feature on YouTube, as we talk you through which one is better suited as a replacement for the CTR360 range. There are some quality arguments for both!

For those interested in a pair, the Magista Opus is currently available to check out – and order – at WeGotSoccer.com.
