A few weeks back, we featured a first look at the Nike Mercurial Vapor360 x Virgil Abloh, now we have some official release details to share, when and where you can buy a pair (details below.) This a release that unites artistic expression and one of the most significant boots in the current game.
In the eyes of Virgil Abloh, the lineage of Nike’s Mercurial football boot is filled with great storylines. He is quick to reference the players who’ve worn it and considers them to be one of sport’s most dynamic and exciting product lines. Beyond, he says he’s excited to leave his own stamp on the contemporary game with his take on the new Mercurial Vapor 360.
“For this Mercurial, I was interested in bridging the gap between foot and eye coordination. All the dots on the boot represent an optimal place to strike the ball.”
“In my approach, I thought about what it would be like if I saw someone wearing the boot. Design is a powerful tool, as it communicates energy and a message, and it offers a unique capacity to make someone do a double take on-pitch — I feel like it would be intimidating to see this boot.”

Can you buy a pair?
The answer is YES. Along with their advertising, the Nike Mercurial Vapor 360 x Virgil Abloh will be worn by Kylian Mbappé (he will be sporting a custom Superfly pair) on pitch March 31. Limited numbers will be available on nike.com that same day.
Adding to the exclusive nature of the release, the boots arrive in a custom box that feature Abloh’s trademark Off-White branding.
