Nike Mercurial CR7 “Safari Pack” Released

They have arrived – the limited edition Nike Mercurial CR7 “Safari” pack designed to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Cristiano Ronaldo’s very first signature boot, released in the same unmistakable print. As part of the release, Nike has placed the design on the Superfly and Vapor 13 silos, providing places with the option of going with or without a collar.

This is sure to be one of those packs that comes and goes very quickly, with the attraction of another signature CR7 release grabbing the attention of fans worldwide. In fairness, this is the kind of design that is worth checking out in detail.

Safari print, originally introduced on the 1987 Air Safari designed by Tinker Hatfield, debuted on performance football footwear with Ronaldo’s boot in November 2010. The look quickly became an on-pitch classic — its design employed in a unique way and overlaid with a tonal reflective and non-reflective chevron pattern that illuminated in certain light.

The Nike Mercurial Superfly CR7 Safari mirrors the Safari Print Mercurial Vapor Superfly II, but the new edition also incorporates some visual updates; CR7’s famous celebration stance, signature and logo on the sockliner. A special pigment on the Elite style distinctively highlights the chevron pattern of the Mercurial Superfly.
