Today, Nike started up the social media buzz around the anticipated release of the Magista with the introduction of the above video. Added to the frenzy is the placement of “Flyknit” at the end of the video, giving us some indication of the direction Nike is headed with the control boot set to replace the current CTR360 Maestri.
Andres Iniesta, Mario Gotze, Thiago Silva, Arda Turan, David Luiz, Christian Eriksen, Viktor Fischer, Mamadou Sakho are some of the players set to debut them. Interesting to note that Sakho is wearing his PSG kit, which means the video was taken before his transfer to Liverpool this past summer.
March 6th is the set date of release, so we still have some time before they officially drop. Before then, I am sure we will get plenty more teasers!
Also, Eriksen is an Amsterdam, which means it was before he transferred to Tottenham.
David Luiz is in Rio. It’s just because Eriksen is Dutch.
Eriksen is Danish.
Honestly, I am looking forward to this release. Not really a Nike fan but want to see how the Flyknit is used in comparison to the adidas Samba Primeknit. Not really sure how the Flyknit inner liner is going to feel.
How will the rain affect the fly knit is my question?
seems like it will feature an included sockliner as can be read here:
