Do some of these colorways look familiar to you? I’m sure they probably all do, with Nike set to release all FOUR very memorable silo’s in limited numbers. The sneak peek at the upcoming retro-inspired pack comes via the very reliable Gunt22 and is set to arrive in the coming weeks.
What exactly are we looking at? Well, Nike has taken first generation colorways of some really iconic boots and placed them on current silos. So, you are not getting the original boot, or even a true-remake. Instead, Nike is just transferring the visuals onto a current market release as follows.
- 2009 Mercurial Superfly 1 (on the Vapor 13)
- 2013 Hypervenom Phantom 1 (on the PhantomVSN 2)
- 2011 Tiempo Legend IV Elite (on the Tiempo Legend 8)
- 2002 Air Zoom Total 90 2 (on the PhantomVNM)
Great move by Nike using such iconic colorways to highlight the performance of their latest top performing boots. And although I know a lot of people will be disappointed that they are not getting an original re-make, these are still sure to fly off the shelves!
