The SWithADot team are back with another incredible one-of-a-kind custom release. This one pays tribute to Kobe Bryant and “Dear Basketball”, the 2017 animated short film written and narrated by Kobe.
Using a pair of the latest Nike Mercurial Superfly as the base, this is a design that really honors the late LA Laker’s incredible legacy. The SWithADot team went for a dream-inspired, double half-boot designs. On the right boot, they created a realistic Kobe Bryant portrait, slowly shading to black. On the left, they painted on the iconic child character from Kobe’s Oscar winning documentary, also paying direct tribute to his immense will for victory. It is a minimal yet extremely powerful design. This pair was created exclusively for FC Astana and Armenian international player Tigran Barseghyan.
