If you are between a size 10-13US and are looking for a new soccer boot, this might be just the deal you were waiting for. Right now, the price of the Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly II Elite has been slashed nearly 50%.
I tested the regular Superfly II and they worked out pretty well, although I felt like they took a while to break in. I am not sure how the Elite version compares. Weight wize, they are a pretty tasty 7.8oz – what was the lightest cleat on the market before the Adizero and V1.10 SL made their appearances!
The deal see’s the Elites dropped from $440 down to $240 (that is around $200 off!) But as I said, they are limited sizes and will probably sell out pretty soon. Good deal though!
Designed using a superlight weight Teijin microfiber combined with Flywire technology, the Superfly is built for speed. The addition of a carbon fiber composite plate gives the lightest and strongest outsole Nike has to offer. It has a pressure-activated adaptive traction system for speed in all conditions. Add to this the 3mm front extendible stud that is designed to give you increased grip on softer surfaces and you have a boot designed to improve your game!
