Puma evoSPEED 1.2 – Purple/Orange Make Debut

New Puma evoSPEED 1.2 Purple Orange

Check out the latest Puma evoSPEED 1.2 colorway that made their impressive debut today in Champions Legaue action. Sergio Aguero was the first player to wear the new Purple/Orange colorway and he bagged a goal in the process – always a good start!

Visually, this is another boot that employs enhanced colors to provide faster visual cues to teammates and players. Purple seems to be the “in” color through Autumn, so I am not surprised to see Puma took a shot at including it on this evoSPEED release. The addition of some added Flash Pink detailing in pretty interesting and actually adds a bold and well flavored new dynamic to the range.

The new evoSPEED range is designed to facilitate enhanced maneuverability and enables players to reach top speeds quickly while maintaining stability and comfort. In addition to Sergio Agüero, top international footballers including Santi Cazorla, Radamel Falcao, Gaël Clichy and Olivier Giroud will also be wearing this new colourway in the coming weeks.

Sergio Agüero commented on the new colourway”

I have been wearing the new evoSPEED boot since May and it’s a great boot. It’s light, very comfortable in it and it helps me to be quicker in a match than my opponents. As a striker I need that, so I have a yard of pace against defenders that enable me to get into goal scoring positions. The new colourway is a striking colour, I like purple and was happy when PUMA presented this to me. It’s a good result.

  1. So gaudy it's ugly. I wish Puma would use the Formstripe on both sides of the boot and just once release a very simple black and white boot. The purist/old fart in me would love the understated classic look and the child in me would appreciate the technology and lightness of the boot.

  2. Love this color
