When it comes to clean, slick designs, Puma has a knack for finding visual combos that really work. From initial reaction to this evoSPEED 1.2 release, that seems to be the case with this Sharks Blue/Fluo Peach colorway.
This version of the evoSPEED is designed to facilitate enhanced maneuverability and enables players to reach top speeds quickly while maintaining stability and comfort. Weighing in at 7oz, they are not the lightest version of the boot released but that is part of enhanced weight distribution process Puma has taken on. It also provides a little extra protection in the right areas as well as improving durability of the boot. Both the tongue and the inner lining of the boot receive a padding upgrade and result in a more comfortable feel as you wear the boot.

In order to improve touch on the ball, a layer of raised dimples have been added across the forefoot. There is a simple intent behind this addition and I during testing I liked the approach Puma has taken. There is nothing invassive about the dimples and they are not there to radically improve how the boot performs. Instead, they are there to add a little extra dimension to the forefoot of the boot, improving your ability to keep the ball closer to your feet.
In addition to Sergio Agüero (who is currently injured), top international footballers including Santi Cazorla, Radamel Falcao, Gaël Clichy and Olivier Giroud will also be wearing this latest colourway.
As is the case with the evoSPEED, there are plenty of choices available to fans. You can pick up the pictured synthetic version, or there is a leather version and a lightweight evoSPEED 1.2 SL version. Each come in at their own price point.
