Could this be the perfect winter style boot released in a while? Not only does the latest adidas Ace 15+ Primeknit colorway match the darker evenings and snow covered pitches we see through colder months, but it also features a knit material across the forefoot to will keep your toes warm!
Ok, so the latter is far from true as Primeknit is not anywhere thick enough to keep your toes toasty, and of course that is absolutely not its purpose. Right across the upper, adidas employ a 3D vacuum skin that offers unbelievable grip and protects the upper in all weather conditions. In other words, you get as much waterproofing from these as you do with a regular release. A common misconception with the Primeknit series is that adidas simply use a knit material with no protection. The 3D vacuum layer is like an extremely thin melted synthetic material that effectively seals the upper.

If you want to really understand what the Primeknit material is all about, you just need to take a closer look at the tongue. It features an exposed layer, unlike the general upper that is covered with a 3D vacuum layer. Obviously, there is a need to cover and protect the forefoot to enhance durability through wear, but the tongues is designed to offer a clean feel across the midfoot and it gives you an opportunity to experience the feel of Primeknit.
The official colorway is listed as a Black/White, with black through the forefoot and a dynamic white hit right through the heel. Flip them over and you’ll spot some Pink detailing on the outer six stud configuration. It adds something uniquely different in comparison to that two-tone upper.
Performance wise, the Primeknit series has easily justified its position at the top of the 2015 best boot list! They really are pure quality and about as comfortable as you will ever wear. On feet, there is such a natural bliss about wearing the Primeknit material as it gently hugs your foot, creating a secure blanketed fit without being overbearing. They are for real, pass the test and are a boot that I completely recommend checking out.

Where can I get a pair of Primeknits these days? It seems like no one carries them anymore, I much rather prefer the 15 to the 16. Any ideas? I wear a 10.5
