Celebrating the nation of Wales, which will host this year’s UEFA Champions League final, adidas has released an inspired new Limited Collection boot range known as “Dragon Pack”. The latest boot drop features design elements of a striking dragon print, combined with the usual technical innovations. The pack consists of both the ACE and X ranges, which are adapted for on-pitch and cage silos.

The Dragon Pack ACE17+ PURECONTROL features the dragon design imagined in a black colorway. The midfoot through heel region features a scale pattern, with a CL Blue adding some dramatic contrast. The image above really doesn’t do justice to how vibrant the blue really is. Of all boots in the collection, it is the X Tango 16+ PURECHAOS TF that features the most standout design. What looks like a graphic tattoo starts it sprawl across the forefoot, and works its way right around the heel.
