Back in February, Puma’s held their annual press conference in Herzogenaurach, Germany. It proved to be insightful as always, with some exciting developments and announcements coming from cat.
Something that caught our eye was the introduction of a new SE style boot, possibly a replacement for the Puma ONE series? This one “accidently” dropped on their social media last week, but we managed to grab a screenshot before it disappeared. Most likely a ploy to get some attention toward the upcoming release. Word on the street was that this was a boot destined to drop before the summer. Most likely before the Euros. But, because of the current global climate, the release has been shifted toward the end of the summer and more likely into next season.
Dressed in a Solar Orange colorway, you can tell the focus here is definitely on speed, with the look evoking strong memories of the evoSPEED series. It has that similar, sleek toe-down shape that we expect from a Puma release. And that ankle collar looks like it will lock down comfortably around your ankles. Not sure about that lacing though.
What are your initial thoughts on the design?
