Cristiano Ronaldo subbed into Man Utd’s game at Burnley on Tuesday night, wearing a pair of boots that we haven’t seen before. We do know that they are a pair of Nike Mercurial Superfly, we just haven’t seen this specific colorway before. That got us wondering; is this the next installment in the Dream Speed collection, a series of boots designed for the fastest football players on earth. To date, we have had four versions released, could this be the official debut of 0005?
The actual design is pretty wild and very vivid, with shades of purples and greens merging across the upper, highlighting different areas. The swoosh also gets a special upgrade, with a neon yellow blast through the center. CR7 obviously got a special custom treatment with his pair, with CR and the Portuguese flag positioned along the outer heel.
