This past Saturday, I got an invite to head to the Nike Montalban Theater in Hollywood to play some rooftop soccer with the guys from TheFinalThird.com. Fun times were had and some great soccer was played! The likes of Elan Atias (lead singer of the Wailers) and Jimmy Jean Louis (actor in ‘Heroes’) showed up to play. The field itself is really cool and sits on top of the 5 story building. Its pretty tight, so skills are well needed if you want to play well. I got to take a few shots of the current Nike cleat line up against the back wall mural (Nike T90 Laser III, Nike Mercurial Superfly II and Nike Mercurial Vapor VI). The mural itself was painted by Madsteez and was created as a tribute to this summers World Cup. Check out some of the images or the time lapse video of the mural painting below.
