Messi Spends Time With His Old (and New) Boots!

Messi and his F50s

During last weeks launch event for the new Adidas F50 adiZero Messi, the man himself had a chance to revisit some of his older model boots. There are not many players who can take a trip down memory lane and ask “how many did I score in these?” without wondering the if the response will be in single digits.

Eventually, Messi got to showcase his latest pair and he went on to score while wearing them for the first time in this weekends game. In the process, he apparently set a new record for most goals in consecutive games. It is pretty clear from the outside that the guy likes, and knows, how to score goals.

You can pick-up the new F50 adiZero Messi from WeGotSoccer right now.

  1. The Blue & Black F50's Were The Best!

  2. there is a picture of adidas’s new unreleased ball in the pic where messi is holding the f30.9’s

    • If I'm not mistaken, that ball is from the 2009 Champion's League Final. The boot he is holding is actually the F50i. Messi preferred molded studs to the interchangeable system Adidas had been marketing, which is why it looks like the take-down model!

      • actually its the f30's with a leather upper, soccerbible has better pictures of them

        • Good catch, John. Spot on. I think he wore those in the final. He toyed around with customized soleplates but perhaps he felt the f30s were a bit more natural.

  3. I've been wanting to try out the primes and the original orange primes.
They're so hard to track down now in size 9.5-10.

  4. How many of us remember and miss the Tunits?
