Puma continue their streak of releasing personalized boots for their key players, and this Cesc Fabregas effort looks pretty special. The evoPOWER Fabregas Tricks features design befitting the nature of the creative Spanish midfielder.
Where Mario Balotelli got a dodgy looking dual colored MB45 evoPOWER, Puma has kept things a little more simple with the Fabregas edition and it has paid off visually. It is still all about the Tricks split style design, with an obvious nod to the Chelsea colors employed. In order to really make the limited edition release unique to Fabregas – note that there are only 400 pairs released worldwide – Puma add some signature touches.
For example, Fabregas’ initial and squad number has been added to the instep in a light texture print. Along with that, a bold C4 has been added in large lettering, and an explosion sign placed on the heel – matching the dynamic playing style of the Chelsea midfielder. Finishing off the look, a touch of neon yellow has been added to the stud tips for stand-out effect.
Overall, this is a tasty colorway update from Puma on what is one of the best boots currently on the market. The evoPOWER boot takes its inspiration from the natural flex movement of a human barefoot when kicking a ball, and allows the player to bend the foot almost naturally. Designed to enhance the true shooting ability through a clean kicking surface and a spine in the outsole that allows the foot to move more freely, it enables the player to shoot with maximum power and accuracy.
