adidas has launched an entirely new range of boots especially for the small sided game – welcome in TKRZ!
The ACE 16+ TKRZ is the first high performance shoe designed specifically for elite street style players. Just as the eleven-a-side player craves goals or assists, the small sided player lives for pannas and akkas. This is the shoe to master the tricks needed to boss the cage, and the shoe to invent new skills for others to copy.
From a performance perspective, the big question becomes “What is so different about TKRZ?”
It all starts with a revolutionary TKRZ CTRL/FRAME outsole, which has been created to provide players with total traction to the cage. The outsole is designed for acceleration, braking and changing direction. Playing short sided, you need to be quick and these are intended to provide a fundamental base.
Available at soccer.com.
Then there it the TKRZ Skin Upper that offers a truer touch and purer ball connection. It is designed with a unique wrap around construction for total 360 control when rolling your foot over the ball. That combined with the TKRZ compression tongue provides a lockdown fit that completes the shoe with maximum stability and comfort.
This is a very interesting release from adidas. Visually, they don’t have that “must have” appearance. But everything from the shorter studs to the stealth black launch colorway has been designed for the needs and attitudes of the best cage players out there. ACE 16+ TKRZ was designed in collaboration with the best of the best small-sided footballers in Paris, Berlin and London, and rigorously tested to make sure it could cope with the demands of urban football.
