One thing Diadora does really well is deliver incredibly high quality boots, especially when they are of the special edition variety.
Case in point these glorious Baggio 03 Italy OG that dropped today. We don’t see a great deal of new releases from Diadora, but when a special edition pair drops you know you are in for a real treat!
Made in Italy, they feature a super supple kangaroo leather upper with a water-repellent treatment, ensuring excellent touch and control on the ball. Inside the boot, Diadora use a proprietary Hydro technical microfiber to enhance the shoe’s waterproofing. Underfoot, you get a PU style soleplate with low profile conical studs, making them ideal for FG or turf surfaces.
Pairs retail for $250 and are currently available at diadora.com.
I had the white Diadora Brasil Italy OG which came out before these. I played in them once. The front of the shoe was already getting ripped up. The white layer was coming off in several spots revealing a grey material underneath. I would’ve expected the shoe to be leather through and through.
Is this baggio shoe the same construction?
