We are talking Copa on steroids, with a bunch of modern innovations integrated into everyone’s favorite, traditional style boot.
So, what exactly is going on here? Well, they are called the adidas Copa Mid GTX and they feature Gore-Tex; a new system for true weather proofing and warmth. Basically, a k-leather upper is treated to a waterproof lining, a mid cut collar to add true form around your ankle, and reflective stripes to dazzle your opponents as the lights start to dim. All of this comes in a very competitive, lightweight 7.4oz package.
What is even more unique is the fact that there hasn’t been a whole lot of attention put on these through release, they just kind of arrived on the market. What makes them even more interesting is the fact they dropped right before the introduction of the next generation Copa.
