With the new MLS season about to kick-off, Nike has treated Josef Martínez to a super exclusive duo of Mercurial Superfly boots. Having won the MLS MVP award and Golden Boot last season, this is a way for the swoosh to celebrate one of their key players stateside.
One pair features a similar pattern to the Nike x Kim Jones Superfly released last year, while the other replicates the Golden Touch Superfly given to Luka Modric for his Ballon d’Or win. Written in black and gold letters – per their respective boots – beside the Venezuelan flag reads:

Martínez wore Superfly boots throughout his incredible run last season, scoring 35 goals and helping Atlanta to it’s first MLS title. We are not sure if he will break out either pair this weekend when the Champions go to play at DC United, but the fact he has been wearing them in training tells us they might be game bound. It is definitely one to watch out for!
