Cristiano Ronaldo Debuts Mercurial Superfly 7 CR “Shuai”

CR7 Nike Mercurial Superfly 7 Shuai

Cristiano Ronaldo has his first exclusive boot release in the Mercurial Superfly 7 silo, with Nike creating a design inspired by the connection between CR7 and the country of China. That is somewhat of a wild connection, but Nike is taking advantage of a growing Chinese market and CR7’s popularity on the world stage.

The boot is officially called the Mercurial Superfly 7 CR “Shuai” and will only be available in very limited quantities. Most of the pairs are set to be released in China, with Europe getting remaining pairs. We haven’t heard much about their availability in the US, so this is one we might miss out on unfortunately. If we find out anymore, we will be sure to update.

Dropping in what is a vibrant sky blue colorway, Nike has also added a bold pink Swoosh for added contrast. The CR7 Mercurial Superfly “Shuai” also features a very distinctive graphic print all over the upper, in the form of Chinese symbols that read “Tong Shuai”, translated into English as “Stylish Commander” – a nod to CR7’s influence, relentless will to win and leadership by example qualities.

Ronaldo has already been wearing his custom pair in training this week, and he is set to also wear them in upcoming friendlies this week. They take on Spurs this Saturday night, followed by a battle royal with Inter Milan on Wednesday. Stay tuned for any further release details that we get!
