New Balance has upped their game by unleashing a performance-hybrid trainer that takes its inspiration from the Tekela v2 football boot. Welcome in the soccer themed NB FuelCell Tekela. As you would expect, NB has created a shoe they are proud to put their name behind, with solid aesthetics and top of the line performance. They feature a responsive full-foot FuelCell midsole, along with the brand’s signature Kinetic stitch technology for an off-field training shoe that provides pinnacle propulsion and energy return.
What is really wild is the fact these are built for speed while incorporating a soccer boot upper. We have seen adidas and Nike take this step before, but it is the first time we have seen NB cross the divide. And as those players that have experienced the Tekela will tell you, the crossover makes a whole lot of sense!
