Is Erling Haaland Next to Get Custom Nike Boots?

Given his dynamic performances over the past year, it has to be only a matter of time until Erling Braut Haaland gets his own pair of custom boots, right? Surely he has to be the next player up to get a pair that are Haaland approved!

I’m not talking a simple Nike ID boot update; I’m talking a signature pair of Nike Mercurial Vapor with some personalized graphics (or branding) that highlight his personality. We saw Nike create a pair of SE11 Jadon Sancho last year that proved to be super popular, I’m pretty sure the market would be ready for a similar Haaland edition.

Nike did treat him to a special pair of Vapor 13 when he won the Golden Boy 2020, as seen below. But, they were more of a Nike ID release, using a change-up of colors on the signature speed silo. And they were not officially released to market. In fact, Nike didn’t even put more work into promoting they were even a real thing.

It could be that they are waiting to see if he makes a big money move this summer – maybe that will be the catalyst to create new branding and colors to match his new club? For now, I guess it is a case of watch this space. But I’m pretty confident he is the player that is next in line.
