We’ve spoke at length about the Nike Elastico Superfly over the past few weeks, including a solid preview of what is in store from Rich. They are currently one of the most requested boots we receive questions about. With their dynamic mid-cut collar, Flyknit construction and performance enhanced TF soleplate, there is a lot to take in and breakdown.
With that in mind, I finally received a pair in the latest Laser Orange colorway to test out. Combined with the opinions of Rich, we should be able to compile a pretty detailed review from two completely different style of players. Being honest, I haven’t been blown away with what the mid-cut collar has to offer – but that is as a result of my high energy playing style.
One important thing to note is that the Elastico Superfly series has become difficult to keep on the market, with fans flocking to pick up pairs once each colorway has been released. Currently, this Laser Orange version and a few pairs in the Midnight Fog are available in the US – for those interested you can currently find them listed at soccer.com for $149.99.
Stay tuned for further details on the range – but for now, check out our boot unboxing from earlier this week!
What is Richard's position? You're a winger, aren't you?
11 a side primarily a sweeper, or a Pirlo style defensive midfielder (read: not running all over). Smaller sided games I'm primarily a creative midfielder controlling possession and playing passes.
I see. Well, i am a trained as a Johan Cruyff type of player, having played all 11 positions, but personally i am a defensive midfielder or full back. defensive midfield and full back are therefore my favourite positions.
