We all awaited the debut of Messi’s exclusive yet ubberly funky Ballon d’Or boots for over a week, and after only one game they disappeared! Messi wore them on January 16th when Barca took on Malaga in Copa Del Rey action but then this weekend he switched back to the his Sonic Yellow F50 adiZero.
Being that they were exclusive and a one off boot, I’m not surprised by the fact that Messi just wore them for one game. But given the fact he wore last years version on several occasions, it makes you wonder what the difference with this pair was.
Maybe they were uncomfortable, maybe someone stole them from Messi’s locker or maybe, just maybe, Messi agreed with 95% off you when you said the design was way too funky……

I would personally retired it after one game. After all, it's one of a kind boot. Well, at least visually.
that's a nice new haircut by Messi.
