Here is a release that a lot of players have been waiting to see – a version of the Adidas Predator LZ (in this case the SL version) where the Lethal Zones have been left White on a high quality, color upper. It is odd that this is the first time we have seen it in play, yet it makes for such a striking look. The primary Red upper is really defined by the White detailing. The official colorway is listed as Infrared/Black/Running White.
There are a few things to note about this release. First off, it is part of the SL series, so they offer a different performance to the regular Predator LZ. When you consider the fact they weigh in at 7.3oz (0.6oz lighter), feature less evident Lethal Zones and are retailing at a more expensive $249.99 ($30 more),you can see how that it is a much different boot to the Predator LZ. This boot is more about lightweight speed than a hybrid control.
This version is also a limited edition release, currently found at soccer.com.
We have seen plenty of Predator LZ SL releases of late, including the incredibly colorful soccer.com exclusive version. It seems like Adidas are saving a select collection of unusual looking boots for this series. Definitely not a bad thing, as it gives players a different option for a boot that is pretty identical to the regular version.

in terms of performance and materials used, the one big difference with these boots compared to the Predator LZ is the use of a SprintSkin through the upper. For those not familiar with SprintSkin, it is a single layer synthetic material that offers a pretty efficient touch on the ball without feeling too thin. This helps Adidas drop the overall weight of the boot.
Realistically, is their a better colorway to go with a Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal or Bayern munich kit on the market right now?
