Adidas Glitch – Let The Hype Begin!

adidas-glitch-profile

The latest revolutionary boot creation from adidas is on its way, with the 3-stripe teasing information about them this morning. The adidas Glitch is going to revolutionize how players think about showcasing their personal style, allowing wearers the opportunity to modify the visual design, type of upper material and traction system. To wear a pair, you will need two parts; the inner sock lining and the outer boot casing. In adidas own words:

A modular football boot with an inner shoe & changeable skin. Create endless looks & performance edges without ever losing the feel.

From wild reflective colors to synthetic and leather uppers; the posibilities with these are endless. But rumor has it that these won’t officially be released to market, instead offered on an invite only basis to fans that want a pair (through the Glitch app). It would cap off a pretty interesting year for adidas, and set a statement as we head into 2017.

Stay tuned for more details this week, as the first pairs are officially set to become “available” on Thursday. Who would wear a pair?

  1. So it's the Tunit all over again?

    • Similar, but in a different way. With the TUNiT, stud pressure became an issue on different surfaces. With these, you are getting a unique soleplate so they (in theory) should be more comfortable to wear. Plus you won't have to spend time changing studs out!

  2. What is the app called??

  3. When will the glitch come out for the public.
