adidas Drop Highly Anticipated Low-Cut Predator 20.1

Low Cut Predator 20

They have arrived! adidas has introduced a highly anticipated low-cut version of the Predator 20.1. This is a release that many fans have been waiting for, what many are considering to be the “real return” of the Predator.

What makes these different from the boots that were initially released as part of the Predator 20 series is obviously that collar cut. This version is a lot more in-line with what players expect from a Predator. It has that familiar feel about it, allowing for more freedom around the ankle as you take advantage of the Power boots fundamentals.

The upper still features DEMONSKIN, the result of a computer algorithm being used to create an entirely new interface between boot and ball. This upper material incorporates the same rubber spike configuration found on the Predator 20.1 high-cut release.

Rumor has it that adidas were concerned this version would become a focal boot in the line-up and outsell the higher priced Predator 20+. Thus why they held off on the release until they saw how the market reacted to the collared version. And honestly, I can understand their concerns as I feel like these are going to be the go-to option for players. They have a look that you can connect to, a look that feels more like a staple Predator release.
