Without a doubt, one of the best players in USL is Sacramento Republic playmaker Rodrigo Lopez. Roro has been on fire this season with an impressive 11 goals and 11 assists in 26 games this season – en route to leading the Republic to a debut spot in the USL playoffs. This weekend, the MLS bound (or so they should be) side take on LA Galaxy II in what is sure to be a hotly contested battle. But before that takes place, we wanted to get Roro’s take on his current boot choice – the adidas adiZero F50.
“My boot of choice this season has been the adiZero F50. What can I say about these boots? First, I’d like to start off with the colorway I’m wearing. Black cleats for me equals class, but to make my adiZeros stand out a lil more, I really like an extra pop of bright color in there. These boots just feel amazing in many different ways, from the first touch, through shooting, crossing and passing……you name it!
Honestly, they are probably one of the best cleats I’ve ever worn in my career in soccer and I can understand why so many other top professional players choose them. From first wear they are light and after a couple of hours of break-in they feel very flexible.
Who would I recommend them to? Well, they are the type of boot made for any style of soccer player really. In my personal opinion keepers, defenders, midfielders and forwards can all benefit from what they have on offer.”
